It Could Be Worse...

Today is Sunday and I am at home with yet another sick little one. Our little Princess who has asthma has really had a very rough weekend with it. We were up almost every two hrs with her or Chunk (our youngest) last night, giving treatments or putting him back to bed. It seemed like a never ending battle. You have to know that I am terrible when it comes to getting up in the middle of the night. It all reminded me of what it was like having a newborn all over again. I can't imagine what it must be like with more than two at a time like my sister who has 12 month old quads (though I have to say all four are very good and content precious babies).
It's times like this, when I have one sick child or all four sick at the same time, ( which has happened, and we had to call in backup!) that I am so grateful to the Lord that these sicknesses are nothing compared to what some families are facing. My hubby is so good about reminding me to be thankful for the stomach bugs or in our case now, asthma/allergies because it could be worse.

I know what you mean battling the asthma/allergies....just when you think it's controlled, it'll flair up again. And the winter cold and wind makes it worse. But I would certainly rather deal with these illnesses than with the other horrible things that are out there. Hang in there, the warmer weather isn't too far away and our little babies can take a break from their allergies! And I agree it could be worse.....

God is good. He gives us grace...and coffee! I was up at 1:45am(and still am, sorta). I will be taking my little fellas to the docs later. But I wouldn't change being a mama for the world!

Sorry to hear you guys have the bug at your house. I didn't know your sister had quads! Wow! your entire family is BLESSED! Let me know if you/she wants to know how to convert (you must have a vhs/dvd unit to dub with)then I can tell you the steps I took to upload to my computer and convert to mpg. I ran into many dead ends trying to figure it out, but I did, then I put every step into a word document for the next time.
