So with today being a stay inside kind of day, the boys and I found ourselves horsin' around while waiting for the bug guy to come and invade the ants that seem to want to invade my kitchen. Well, while we were settling down Little Man plops himself back in my lap and asks "where was I in your tummy?" So I begin to tell him how he laid all kinds of ways. He was a regular clock. But his favorite way in my tummy was sideways and I told him how he would stretch REAL HARD and would kick my ribs REAL HARD! Of course this made him laugh as he said he could remember that and how it was so much fun. *GIGGLE* ANYWHOO...I began to tickle him again when he said "Stop, wait." Iasked him what was wrong and he then pops up with " well, how did I get in your tummy?" WHAT?!?! Was he asking me the BIG question, ALREADY? I asked him what do you mean and just like any kid he asked "how did I fit in there and how did I get in there? I was like you have got to be kidding me !*giggle* So I lovingly told him that God chose to put him in mommys tummy. Well to make a long story short, this was not cutting it for my almost 4 yr. old, so I then told him to just ask his daddy when he gets home to which he said "OK daddy knows!"
And I'm sure daddy will know just what to say, he has always had a way with words!!!

I am laughing sooooo hard right now!!! Oh my... that is tooooo flippin' funny girl! Leave it to Little Man... he is one smart cookie. I can't wait to ask my bro how he handled this... how cute :D If I had a little one I'd do the same thing or just take them out for ice cream and bribe them or something :D
That was hilarious. You have a little thinker on your hands. He is going to do great things when he gets older and I think you handled it well. You will have to save this post and show it to him when he is all grown up.
I like how Dr. Phil puts it....Mommy and Daddy love each other so much, that God makes us fit together perfectly like a puzzle. I'm trying to tinker it a bit so when that time comes, I'll know exactly what to say. Remember, I have girls.
