This is the week we all are planning on doing our annual Johnson,Carta,Gomez week at the coast, which I might add we all have been anticipating for the last few months and the excitement has only grown over the last few weeks and now into days.
Now, we are going to Port Aransas, so I do not know how or if we will be affected there but we shall see. Oh, my hubby says we will :( bummer huh?
We originally planned to leave sometime Wednesday afternoon but now.....I'm kinda thinkin' we will play it safe and leave on Thursday though we may hit rain but I do not know that will happen for sure. (I hate driving in the rain!) I and the girlies have been praying it will quickly pass so we can still have our fun in the sun.
But nonetheless, if for whatever reason we are affected we will still make the best of it I HOPE!:)
Well, I do not have much more to post so I will just continue to stay glued to the weather channel for the next few days. :)

Oh girl you know your going to have fun no matter what. Just getting away for awhile makes it a vacation. Take your girls to the store today or tomorrow (the new Target opens on the 23rd) and get fun things for the indoors, just in case. Pipe cleaners, coloring books, outside chalk, a new video, a board game they don't have, washable paint, playdough, a Cd they can dance to, etc. Also you could buy a cheap canvas bag to put the stuff in and the girls and or boys could decorate it and you could call it your "Emergency Rain Kit". Just use the paint you have left over from the kids art work for aunt Joy to decorate the bag. Chin up my friend it's going to be a wonderful vacation!!! :)
