Lookin' More and More Like Daddy Everyday!

Four and a half years ago when I gave birth to our first son, Little Man, we knew he was going to look just like his daddy; which my hubby took pride in who wouldn't right?
As the years have passed it became more and more evident that not only is he the spitting image of his daddy I am happy to say he is also his earthly hero.

The only difference between them were that my hubby wears glasses and Little Man did not.

Well this past Tuesday, Little Man woke up and as he was eating his breakfast I noticed one of his eyes was crossing in. I told him to straighten his eye and to not do that or some day it might stay like that (he use to do that alot on his own to make people laugh and thought it was cute whenever he did it).
He told me "I'm not doing it mommy, and I can not see good today."
As the morning progressed his eye continued to cross in more and more. So needless to say, I started freaking out (because that's what I do) wondering what is going on and off to the Dr. we went that afternoon.

Well, turns out he is far sided just like who? Yep, you guessed it, his daddy! as it turns out, because he was not able to focus correctly it was making his eye to cross in causing lazy eye as he was trying to focus on objects.
so the DX glasses to hopefully correct the lazy eye syndrome and have a follow up in 3 months. Then if it is not corrected or has not improved we will have to look at some other options. Not sure what those are but from friends and family with the same dx, surgery could be one though the Dr. never said.

So for now, we have glasses and look even more like daddy and it makes both if them that much more sweeter toward one another!
I do not have a pic of them together but will soon. So please check back because I have MORE exciting news to share!
