WHAT A CRAZY WEEK!

What a week indeed! It seems like time just flashes before me and it feels as if I still have so much to do. I must say, WHAT A CRAZY WEEK, so crazy that I found myself working on a special craft for school (which is due like, tomorrow) with poor Freckles tonight at 9:00p.m. all b/c I forgot to have her start it earlier in the week.
Once all was finished and I tucked her in bed, I was reflecting how hectic my life tends to get b/c I have so much to do, places to be , people to call and or email and yet often times I do not find time to be with the Lord. Once I got to really thinking about it, how sad that must be for Him that I am" too busy" for Him.
I asked myself how would I feel if my hubby was so wrapped up in work he didn't have time for me and the kids. I felt my stomach drop at that moment. It was then, that I felt as if the Lord was telling me, SLOW down, enjoy each day and spend a designated time w/o interuptions with Him and lean more on Him instead of trying to do everything on my own and maybe, just maybe my life would not feel so hectic. Though I must admit, I'v been down this path many atime before, it was as if I was knocked upside the head.
I truely am going to try to do a better job of spending that time with Him and I am anxious to see how it will change my life.
