AARRRRR, Me Hearties!

I have come to the conclusion that yes, my son has officially turned into a mini Captain Feathersword! When he was younger he just loved The Wiggles, Greg especially, but now the big man is Captain Feathersword or Hook from Peter Pan (he likes to be one or the other). We can be anywhere, the car, the house, in a store and you will hear out of no where a loud " hello me hearties" it just cracks us up! We were able to take the kids to see The Wiggles (a big thanks to the Express News) when they were here in San Antonio and it was so much fun . Though I did not get up and dance, to see the adults who did, it was a hoot, but oh so much fun!
Anyway, this morning the captain came to wake me up with "AAAARRRRRR" he yelled out as he ran into my room scaring me half to death note, I was still in bed. I could not help but laugh as he kept his straight face with his eyes squinched and spoke in a most pirate voice as if he really were the charachter he was portraying saying "good morning me heartie mommy!! AARR" and off he ran! As funny as it sounds it was even better in person! As I mentioned before I am so not a morning person, but he truley made my morning. After I got up from my warm bed I told the captain he was a little scary and he said, " but mom, I do not even have a sword." So I guess he is not a scary pirate since he is without a weapon. I think we will keep it that away! :)

hee,hee....that's so cute:) These little people can really be a hoot sometimes. They have such an imagination and it is so fun to watch them express themselves and see their personalities shine through. I bet that really did make your day;)

Loved the story about being woken up early in the morning. Now you know, with four kids, there is no more sleeping in and no more naps until they are grown and out of the house.....now I hear they never leave and they always come back.
