Fun Filled Weekend

Good Monday to you ladies! I hope you all had a great weekend. I have to say we had a fun filled and very busy weekend but much needed after My Sad Day post. On Saturday morning, I had a lady coming out to my house to...... well, I will save that for my next post so stay tuned. Anyway, Mama C called and asked if my girlies and I wanted to hang out and have a girlies day out. Who would say no to that? NOT ME!! So after the lady AND gentleman left, in drove up Mama C and we were off for a fun filled day of shopping! My girlies were so excited to be going out without any brothers it was quite funny b/c before she got here to pick us up they got all dolled up and were walking around like big stuff.

Our first stop was Borders where Mama C bought the girls THE best hot chocolate yes, hot chocolate even in 90 degree weather and it was fab-tab-u-lous I must say. Then we hit all the stores well almost all the stores ate,laughed and were just havin' a crazy good time. After being gone for over 5 hrs. we decided it was time to get back to our boys and so we headed home.

Then on Sunday, after church and went to my parents for lunch to celebrate my brothers 31st, b-day and just had some good ol' family time. What I just love about being with my family is, when we are all together we always seem to end up reminiscing of our younger years and the stories which are usually funny and even embarrassing one of us or one of our parents remembers. You can just hear all the laughter that goes on that I could even bet one can probably hear it being carried out the house! I just love it!! :) And to top it off, our kids were just having allergy problems and nothing more so everyone is now back on the mend!! Thank you Lord! Just a great weekend all around. Can you tell it has been a while?!?!? It just makes me that much more grateful for the times when everyone is well.
